For PBR texturing I used Bitmap2material which saves huge amount of time by allowing you to tweak your texture in realtime, not only that but you can export all of the PBR maps at once. This is a much faster workflow then going through the old method of creating a map individually.
I got a royalty free brick texture from here in order to demonstrate the program.
You can see from this image all of the texture maps I can export instantly.
