Creative futures – using green screen

In this seminar I learned how to use the green screen using Adobe Premiere in order to put an image behind the subject.

By using 8 point garbage matte I learned how to cut out anything unwanted such as a light that may have been caught in the clip. Then by going onto ultra key and changing the key colour to green I was able to turn the background to mostly black, but due to uneven lighting there was different shades of grey. So by using some colour adjustments such as luma, spill, choke and a few others I was able to get it as close to what I wanted it to be.

Then after this, all I did was import a picture for the background, then scale and manipulate the subject in order to get the final piece.
